Mingzhi Zou is a Chinese third grade actor who specializes in acting Chou Sheng. He once learned from National first grade actor Zhiquan Peng. From 1997 to 2000, Zou studied in National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts. After that, Zou pursued his further study in Guangzhou Arts School till 2003. Since then, Zou had worked in Guangzhou Cantonese Opera Troupe till now. In 2009, he graduated from Faculty of Distance Education of Renmin University of China. In 2012, he got the certification of the training held by National Acrobatics Troupe of St. Petersburg, Russia.
Mingzhi Zou's performance is of strong passion and he can skillfully imitates the archetype he is acting. He played important roles in Qin Shu in "San Kan Yu Mei", Xia Cong in the new edition of "The Heiress" and He Bao in the newly organized opera "The Alley of Three Families". Zou have took part in traditional full-length opera "Sending Xishi to the Emperor" "Princess Babao and Di Qing" "Zui Da Jin Zhi" "A Mischievous Princess and an innocent husband" "Zhu Bian Went back to the Country" "Yi Yue Qing Yuan" "Sued by Emperor Song" and newly organized opera "Watchtowers". He had been the leading character in "The Capture of Zhang Sanlang" "Picking up the Jade Bracelet" "San Cha Kou" "Meet in the Woodshed" and "Borrowing Boots". In 2010, Zou got the Bronze prize in the first Guangzhou Youth Drama and Opera Competition by virtue of his great performance in "San Cha Kou". At the same year, after Zou acted as He Bao in "The Alley of Three Families", he gained the third prize in the 10th Guangdong Arts Festival. Then, in 2012, because of "Borrowing Boots", he won the Bronze prize in the second Guangzhou Youth Drama and Opera Competition.
